If you’re looking for something laid‑back but still full of flavour, Scarborough’s bars and modern kitchens offer plenty of choice. Think cocktails, beers, burgers, pizzas and relaxed dining with a coastal backdrop. These venues are ideal for easy late afternoon or evenings without always needing to book.
Great spot for drinks and food, Marisco Lounge sits right on the seafront opposite the harbour. It’s perfect for relaxing and people‑watching with a glass of wine, and we’ve enjoyed good meals here too. The menu is extensive, with plenty of choice to suit different tastes, making it a reliable option for casual dining at any time of day.
Top tip... a great option for Gluten Free
Chris and his team are doing great things down at The Hideout, serving up pizzas, burgers, chicken strips and parmos. We’ve enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere — it’s a modern, fresh setting with a good vibe that works equally well for casual afternoons or lively evenings. Best of all, it’s just a 10‑minute walk from us through Peasholm Park, making it an easy and scenic stroll for guests.
Top tip... call in at Talk Bar for a drink too right next door.
Top tip... unlimited pizza buffet daily from 12 noon to 4:30pm (5:30pm Sunday)
