Your quick guide to what's on in and around Scarborough this week and next

Whether you’re here or on your way, this guide gives you a quick snapshot of what’s happening in Scarborough this week and next, helping you plan your days and make the most of your stay.

What's On This Weekend (20th to 23rd March 2026)

If you fancy heading out on your first evening in Scarborough, the Stephen Joseph Theatre is showing The Grand Babylon Hotel — a fast‑paced comedy thriller packed with glamour, intrigue, and a couple of wayward German princes for good measure. It’s running from 18–21 March, which makes it a great option for a Friday night out before settling into your stay. There’s also a Saturday matinee if you’d prefer something relaxed earlier in the day before your evening entertainment back at The Headlands Hotel. You can check times and availability directly with the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

What's On Next Weekend (27th to 30th March 2026)

Scarborough is still easing into the season, so it’s a quieter weekend in town. There aren’t any major events or theatre performances that line up well with your stay, but the seafront, harbour, and town centre will all be open and starting to come back to life for spring. We’ll keep this page updated as more events begin to appear for April and beyond.
