The most successful British female band of the 1980s Bananarama will bring their Too Hot To Handle Greatest Hits Summer Tour to Scarborough next summer with special guests Jason Donovan & Altered Images.

Gig nights at Scarborough Open Air Theatre couldn’t be simpler from The Headlands Hotel. It’s a five‑minute stroll to the venue, so guests head out after a drink and some food, enjoy the concert, and drift back afterwards for a quiet drink in the bar. The post‑gig chat is always great — favourite moments, big crowd reactions and that unmistakable buzz across the lake. It’s an easy, relaxed way to end the night.

This summer, Bananarama celebrated 40 years since the release of their landmark studio album True Confessions, with a special anniversary edition reaching Number Six in the UK Album Chart.

This is pure 80s gold — big hair, big hits, and the soundtrack to every mixtape we ever made. Saturday 17 July is going to be Too Hot To Handle.
