ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

  • Check-in: from 3PM to 8:30PM

    • contact us if you need a later arrival​

  • Check-out: by 10:30AM

    • we are unable to accommodate late check-outs​

BREAKFAST & BAR

FIRE SAFETY

  • Alarm: continuous ringing bell

  • Fire Exits: main staircase to the front door, or use the fire exits on Floor 1 & 2, gather on the grass opposite

  • Fire Instructions: on back of room door

  • Fire Doors: keep them shut at all times

 

MEDICAL HELP

  • Non-urgent: NHS 111

  • Emergency: 999

SMOKING & VAPING

  • Smoking: not allowed anywhere except away from the property

    • Ashtray at the bottom of drive to keep area tidy​

  • Vaping: not allowed anywhere inside the hotel​

    • You may vape outside on the property, please be respectful to other guests​

    • Do not leave vapes or e-cigs charging in rooms; they will be disconnected

  • Guests found smoking or to have smoked inside the hotel: £150 cleaning fee and asked to leave without refund​

WI-FI

  • Networks: Floor 1 & Floor 2, password on reception noticeboard

CAR PARKING

  • Car Park: located at the rear of property

  • On Street: free to park all around the hotel

TESCO EXPRESS & POST OFFICE

  • Tesco Express: 10-min walk along Burniston Road

  • Post Office: 10 min walk up to Newlands Park Road​​

LOST PROPERTY & KEYS

  • Returning Property: £5 plus the cost of postage & packaging

  • Guests who lose door keys: £75 to replace a hotel key, room key & key fob

ROOMS & SERVICING

  • 2 Night Stay: room servicing is on demand, just let us know if you need anything

  • Longer Stays: room servicing schedule given at check-in

  • Room Servicing Days: towels for changing in bath or shower, place card on bed for linen change

  • Heated Towel Rails: in all rooms, some electric some on mains system

  • Heating System & Hot Water: system on timer, any questions contact reception

  • Tea Trays: complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits, topped up every 2 nights

  • Decaf & Herbal: please help yourself from the tray in reception

  • Tap Water: perfectly acceptable to drink, bottled tap water complimentary, bottled spring water available to buy

  • Cooling Fans & Heaters: available in rooms, or contact reception

  • Blankets: fluffy blankets in wardrobe, please leave on bed for cleaning after use

  • Lighting: sensor lights in hallways, they will pick you up and light the way as needed
