The Headlands Hotel in Scarborough offers high quality hotel accommodation, with bed and breakfast accommodation in en-suite bedrooms. It is a family hotel of character sitting in its own well maintained garden located in a peaceful setting, only a few minutes walk from the North Bay, Peasholm Park, with its boating lake, tree walk and Naval battles. As well as views of the North Bay, we are close to Scarborough Cricket Club, the Bowls Centre, Casino and castle.

For those that like to explore a bit further afield the North Yorkshire Moors, Dalby Forest and the beautiful Forge Valley are all within a few minutes drive. Scarborough is also ideally located for Whitby with its well known abbey and the Dracula experience. Goathland and Grosmont are in ‘Heartbeat country’, which are on the NYMR (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) along with Pickering, which is west of our town. To the south is Filey, the historic market town of Beverley and Hull with its many attractions including The Deep and ice rink. To the west of Scarborough we Flamingoland in Kirkby Misperton and Eden Camp at Malton are worth a visit, as well as Castle Howard (seen in ‘Brideshead Revisited’) and of course our county town York.

Most of these places are a short drive, bus or train journey away. Both the 121 bus service (East Yorkshire Motor Services) and regular trains (Northern Rail) call at Beverley, Hull and Filey, with Whitby served by Arriva bus services to Middlesbrough. Open-top buses run along the seafront in summer months to the spa.
